Golf's Touchest Bunker Shot

On Bunker Shots of 40 to 50 yards, try a 9-iron over a sand wedge.  The get that much distance with the higher-lofted club, you are likely to either hit the golf underneath and land it shot or catch the golf ball in the middle and skull it over the green.  Hitting a 9-iron and using the bounce on the bottom of the club to slide through the sand with more room for error.  You want to swing as if you are hitting an explosion shot with your sand wedge.  Open your stance and the clubface to the target and grip down.  Back swing is to fellow your stance and swing your club out-to-path, left arm is firm through impact, this will keep you from releasing your hands.  The golf ball will come out low, so allow for some roll.  Try this in your next practice session.
