Bob Rosburg 1926-2009

Rosburg had been battling cancer and died on May 14 at the age of 82. But Rosburg died from a head injuries suffered in a fall outside a restaurant near his home in Palm Springs.  At the age of 12 Rosburg beat Ty Cobb in a head to head match at the famous Olympic Club in San Francisco.  In 1959 Rosburg won the PGA Championship at Minneapolis Golf Club, his final win come in 1972 in the Bob Hope Desert Classic. Rosburg is remembered as a golf analysis for ABC Sports.
