My Interview with Warren Pineo
I had the privilege of sitting down with Warren to ask 10 questions.
1. So who inspired you to play golf? My father had clubs in the garage and one day when I was bored, picked them up and started hitting golf balls in the neighbor's yard. Then I started watching Jack Nicklaus' "Golf My Way."
2. Tell me about four first golf tournament? I remember playing in my first high school tournament. I was so nervous, and of course I hit my opening tee shot out of bounds left in to someone's backyard!
3. How did you do in that tournament? Horrible I am sure.
4. Best golf round ever? I have had a couple that I would consider the best, but I would have to say the 72 in the second round of the 2007 US Open at Oakmont Country Club would be one of my highlight rounds. P.S. I had a better score then Tiger Woods that round.
5. Any course records or personal records? I have the course record at Indian Ridge Country Club. It was on the Arroyo Course and I share that with Mike Weir
6. Best tournament finish? I have won a couple two and three day tournaments, but I still haven't had my best finish yet.
7. Best Golf Movie? "The Greatest Game Ever Played"
8. What is in the bag? Taylor Made Burner Driver TP 9.5 Rombax X-Flex, 65 Gram. Taylor Made Burner 3 wood, Diamana Blue Board 83 gram, X-Flex. Adams Idea Pro Gold 18 degree, Taylor Made R7 TP irons 3-PW X-100 shafts, Vokeys 56 degree SW, Taylor Made 60 degree LW.
9. Who would be in your fantasy foursome? Jack Nicklaus, Aronld Palmer and my Dad
10. Any Golf Tips for my viewers? Aim at the smallest target possible. Most golfers just look at a general target while they practice or play. Picking specific targets, down to the letter, will get you to focus into smaller area and therefore will allow you to hit it closer to your intended target.
I would like to Thank Warren Pineo for taking time out of his busy schedule to sitting with me and answer some questions. I found Warren to be a pleasant person and with a great sense of humor about golf. I only see great things for Warren.
Good Luck in the your next Tournament.
